What is GoodRx? How can it help me save?
GoodRx is a free price comparison resource that helps Americans save millions of dollars every month by finding them the lowest prescription prices at their local pharmacies. Visit goodrx.com to access coupons that can help you save up to 80% on almost all FDA-approved drugs—brand name and generic.
Is GoodRx free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes! GoodRx is completely free for anyone to use. You do not need to register or sign up in order to use the GoodRx coupons listed on goodrx.com. However, additional savings may be available on select drugs if you sign up and create a free account.
Where can I use GoodRx?
GoodRx is accepted at over 70,000+ retail pharmacies in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands — including major chains like CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Rite Aid, Costco, Walmart and more! If you are filling your prescription at Sam's Club, click here.
Can I reuse my coupon? Do they expire?
GoodRx coupons do not expire; you can use and reuse the coupons as often as you like. To make sure you get the best price, we recommend providing your pharmacist with a new coupon each time you fill or refill a prescription.
How do I find a coupon?
Step 1: Search for your medication
To locate a coupon for your medication, visit goodrx.com, type in your drug’s name in the search field and click the “FIND THE LOWEST PRICE” button.
Step 2: Select brand/generic, your form, strength and quantity
At the top of the page, under your prescription name, locate the drop-down options for brand-name or generic drugs, form, dosage and quantity. Select your correct form, dosage, and quantity, to ensure you are viewing accurate prices for your prescription.
Step 3: Add your location
Directly above the first pharmacy in the price results, you should see a location pin that says "Set your location for drug prices near you" next to it. Click on the "Set your location" link to enter your zip code.

Do I need a prescription to use GoodRx?
Yes! You will need a valid prescription from a U.S.-based doctor to take advantage of our coupons and discount cards at the pharmacy counter.
I don’t have a prescription. How do I get one?
If you don’t have a prescription already, you’ll need to see a certified healthcare provider who can write your prescription. GoodRx Care, powered by HeyDoctor, offers affordable online medical services to patients across the U.S. where you can see a board-certified healthcare professional for advice, diagnosis, and treatment of routine health conditions whether or not you have insurance. Can I use GoodRx if I have insurance?
Yes! Anyone can use GoodRx, regardless of whether they have insurance or not—and this is true if you have commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or any other type of insurance. To use GoodRx, just let your pharmacy know that you’ll use a GoodRx discount instead of your insurance when you pay for your prescription medication.
When using GoodRx instead of your insurance, the amount you pay will not automatically be applied toward your deductible. For additional information, click here.
What is the difference between the GoodRx coupons and discount card?
The discount card will often help you save at the pharmacy, but it may not always provide you with the most current listed coupon price. In order to receive the coupon price listed on our website or mobile app, you must present the pharmacist with the most current coupon.
It is important to note that each GoodRx card and coupon will have a different member ID. The Member ID listed on a GoodRx discount card or coupon is not assigned to one specific person and can be used by anyone at the pharmacy to receive a discount. For additional information, click here.

How can I request a discount card?

What is GoodRx Gold? How can it help me save?
GoodRx Gold is a monthly membership program that provides even more discounts on prescriptions for you and your family. GoodRx Gold offers greater savings and greater convenience by offering one discount card for all purchases that provides savings of almost 40% off GoodRx's already low prices.
What is the monthly membership fee for GoodRx Gold?
GoodRx Gold is $5.99/month for individuals and $9.99/month for the family plan. Try GoodRx Gold for free for the first 30 days! The family plan covers up to 6 members on one account: friends, family, pets — anyone! To sign up for Gold just download the app and get started or give us a call to get your account set up.
While GoodRx Gold is accepted at CVS and many other local pharmacy chains, please note that GoodRx Gold is not accepted at all pharmacies; such as Walgreens, Walmart, Sam’s Club and Publix.
How do I find prices for GoodRx Gold?
To view GoodRx Gold prices, open the app and log in with your Gold account information. Look up your prescription using the medication search bar and you will see Gold prices at participating pharmacies in your area.
How do I cancel my Gold account or update account and billing information?

What if I am having an issue at the pharmacy?
The prices listed on GoodRx are updated frequently and are generally very accurate, but if you have experienced an issue with a price at your pharmacy, please give us a call at 1-855-268-2822 (Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT). Our GoodRx Advocates are always happy to help, and can typically resolve most issues while you’re in the pharmacy.
