Once you’ve finished registering for a GoodRx Gold Family Plan, you can add up to five additional members—family, friends or pets—on one subscription. Add or remove members at any time by following the steps below:
Adding/Removing Family Plan members in the GoodRx App
Step 1: Login to the GoodRx app. Tap 'GoodRx Gold Family' in your account settings and select 'Add A Member'.
Step 2: Enter the: Member type (Partner/Spouse, Dependent/Other, Pet), name that matches their prescriptions, and birthdate. Select 'Save' to update your Family Plan. You will be brought back to your plan details.
Step 1: Login to the app and tap 'GoodRx Gold Family' in your account settings. Select the member you want to remove.
Step 2: Scroll down and select 'Remove Member'. Read the removal notice and select 'Remove' to proceed. A confirmation notification will appear.
Adding/Removing Family Plan members on the GoodRx Gold website
Step 1: Log in and click the 'Account' icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.
Step 2: Select "Manage Members"
Step 3: Choose the member you would like to remove or select "Add a Member" to add someone to your account.
To remove a member, locate the member you want to remove and click on the trashcan icon in the top right-hand corner of the member's profile.
Step 4: Select member type
Under Member Type, you will see a drop-down menu. Click on the drop down and you will see options for "Partner / Spouse, Child / Parent / Other Member, and Pet. Select the option that best fits their relationship to the primary account holder.
Step 5: After selecting the Member Type, add the first and last name, and birthdate. Please make sure that the name and birthdate you provide matches the name and birthdate on their prescriptions, this will be used for verification at the pharmacy. Click the "Save" button to add the member.
Once you add a member, you can send them a screenshot of their Gold card until it arrives in the mail. Visit, goodrx.com and log in to your account. Click on 'Go to Gold home", then click on 'Gold card' in the top right corner. Click on the member, take a photo of their card, and share it with them!
If you add members to your plan when you sign up, they will be listed on your GoodRx Gold card.
If you choose to add members later, you will automatically be sent new cards with the new member’s names printed on the back. Your original card will work for all registered members, even if their names do not appear on the card!
