All participating pharmacies are contractually required to accept GoodRx Gold. If you’re having trouble at the pharmacy, these common issues could be the cause:
- Does your pharmacy participate in GoodRx Gold? See a list of participating pharmacies on our Pharmacy Directory page.
- Are you trying to fill a controlled substance? For certain drugs like narcotics, pharmacists may use their discretion on whether to dispense the prescription.
- Does the name and birth date on your prescription match your account? For your card to work, the information your pharmacist enters must match the information you provided to us. The name and birth date that your pharmacist enters must match what you entered in the GoodRx Gold plan settings (including for your pet)!
- Is your pharmacist using the correct person code? Person codes can be found on the back of your GoodRx Gold card, and each member on your account will have a different code.
If you’ve entered incorrect information in your GoodRx Gold settings, you can make changes on the Manage Members Page If you are the primary member, you can also make changes for other members on your account.
