The GoodRx eCoupon and Online Transfer Program help you to easily transfer a prescription and send a GoodRx coupon to any CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS) in your area!
No more waiting in line while the pharmacist enters the discount codes:
If your prescription is already at CVS, use this feature to send a GoodRx coupon directly to the pharmacy. After entering your information and selecting your preferred CVS, we send the coupon, CVS applies it and texts you when your prescription is ready!
Where can I transfer my prescription or use the eCoupon feature?
Prescriptions can be transferred from any pharmacy, but they can only be transferred to a participating CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS). In example, you can use this feature to transfer your prescription from Walgreens to a Target (CVS) nearby.
When you look up a GoodRx coupon for CVS, click on the Send to CVS button. This will open the eCoupon feature.
Are there any prescriptions I can't transfer?
Your prescription is ineligible and cannot be transferred if any of the following apply:
- You received a brand-new, paper prescription from your doctor. You'll need to take the physical prescription to the pharmacy in person.
- The prescription is for a pet
- The prescription is for someone under 13 years of age
- The prescription is a controlled substance
- The prescription is a specialty medication
Remember to check prices before you go and bring the latest GoodRx coupon with you!
How much does this feature cost?
The Transfer and eCoupon features are completely free! To make sure you're getting the lowest price possible, you might want to compare GoodRx coupon prices at both your new and old pharmacies before deciding to transfer.
Can I transfer my prescription or send an eCoupon from the mobile app?
No. Currently, the Transfer and eCoupon features are only available online at goodrx.com. We hope to offer other ways to access these features in the future.
