GoodRx will contact your new pharmacy and tell them to request the transfer from your old pharmacy. Your pharmacy may contact you if they need any more information.
You will also receive an email from GoodRx confirming that your transfer went through or notifying you if there were any problems with your request. If you provided your cell phone number, GoodRx will send you a confirmation text indicating your transfer was submitted. CVS Pharmacy will also text you when your prescription is ready for pickup (this may take a few hours).
We recommend contacting your new pharmacy in a few hours to verify that your transfer was completed.
