GoodRx will contact your new pharmacy to begin the transfer process and they will request the transfer from your old pharmacy. Your pharmacy may contact you if they need any more information
You will also receive an email from GoodRx confirming that your transfer went through, or you’ll get an email notifying you if there were any issues submitting your transfer. If you provided your cell phone number, GoodRx will send you a confirmation text indicating your transfer was submitted, and CVS Pharmacy will text you when your prescription is ready for pickup.
We recommend contacting your new pharmacy in a few hours to verify that your transfer was completed.
