GoodRx is accepted at virtually every one of the 70,000+ retail pharmacies in the U.S. — including major chains like CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Rite Aid, Costco, Walmart and many more!
Is there anywhere I can't use a GoodRx coupon?
While most U.S. pharmacies accept GoodRx discounts, there are a few exceptions to keep in mind:
1. Sam’s Club has their own Instant Savings Program, and they do not accept manufacturers' or competitors' coupons. While GoodRx coupons cannot be used at this pharmacy, you can still use GoodRx to compare Sams Club membership and pharmacy cash prices.
2. Walmart's new opioid policy – As of June 1st, 2018, Walmart will no longer accept any discounts for an opioid prescription. For more information on Walmart's policies regarding Opioid prescriptions click here.
If you're interested in using a GoodRx discount, and you fill your medication at Sam's Club, you will need to transfer your prescription to a participating pharmacy.
Opioid prescriptions cannot be transferred and may require your Doctor to write or call in a new prescription. Before attempting to fill a prescription for a controlled substance at a new pharmacy, please be aware that discounts for controlled substances are honored at the discretion of the individual pharmacy or pharmacist.
While the vast majority of pharmacies will honor coupons for controlled substances, we are unable to require a pharmacy to fill the prescription or accept the coupon for a controlled medication.
