Follow these steps to process an order in the app:
Step 1: Search for your prescription. Make sure that the name, form (capsule, tablet, dropper, etc.), dosage, and quantity of medication all match your prescription exactly. Also make sure that the location matches where you want your prescription to be delivered (this will help determine pricing).
Step 2: You will see a list of pharmacies ordered by price. If your prescription is eligible for delivery, you will see a Gold Mail Delivery option on the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Gold Mail Delivery option to start the checkout process for your prescription.
Step 4: Review your order to confirm that you entered the exact drug name, form, dosage, and quantity written on your prescription. To make any changes, tap the “Edit” link on the first page.
Step 5: Once you confirm your medication information, tap the “Start order” button.
Step 6: If you have a GoodRx Gold Family Plan with multiple family members added, select the family member who the prescription is for. If you need to add a member to your plan, tap the “Add another family member” button.
Step 7: Confirm whether or not you have a prescription for the medication you are ordering.
If you don’t have a prescription, you will be referred to our GoodRx Telehealth Marketplace, where you can schedule an appointment with a doctor virtually and obtain a prescription.
Step 8: If you have a prescription for the medication you are ordering, confirm that the prescription details (form, dosage, and quantity) exactly match what’s written on your prescription. If you need to change any details, tap the “Edit” link to update your prescription.
Step 9: Choose whether you are transferring your prescription from your pharmacy or your doctor.
If you are transferring your prescription from your pharmacy, enter the pharmacy’s name and phone number, and then tap “Next”.
If you are transferring your prescription from your doctor, enter your doctor's name and phone number, and then tap “Next”.
Step 10: Answer the questions on the screen, and use the boxes to explain any “Yes” answers – these questions are important to ensure that we deliver your prescriptions safely. When you’re finished, tap “Next”.
Step 11: Enter your mobile phone number so we can contact you about your order if needed.
Step 12: Confirm your order details and complete your purchase!
