Effective Date: August 16, 2023
GoodRx, including its subsidiaries and affiliates (together, “GoodRx”), retain consumer personal information for certain periods of time. The chart below (the “Retention Schedule”) describes how long we retain personal information, and for what purpose. Any terms that are used in this Retention Schedule that are not defined here have the meanings given to them in our privacy policies.
Except as described below, we will retain your personal information while you remain active (as measured by relevant actions or engagement with us, such as logging into, accessing or engaged with our Services) so that you can effectively use our services.
Unless an exception applies (described below), we will then delete your personal information in the following circumstances: (a) no later than ninety (90) days after you request that we delete your personal information using our deletion request form; (b) within two (2) years, for personal information used for Advertising and Marketing and Reviews, and (c) once your engagement with us becomes inactive, we delete your personal information following seven (7) years after the Effective Date of this Retention Schedule or seven (7) years after your account is deemed inactive, whichever is later.
Exceptions may apply where we are required to retain certain personal information by law (e.g., subpoena, warrant, regulatory or legal order, etc.), and/or as necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. In addition, from time to time, GoodRx may impose a different retention schedule on specific information; if that occurs, GoodRx will advise you of that retention schedule through specific notice. Please note, deletion under this Retention Schedule includes removing information such that it is not maintained in retrievable form and cannot be retrieved in the normal course of business as permitted under applicable law.
