NPI: The National Provider Identifier. NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers. 

NDC: National Drug Code. Serves as the FDA's identifier for drugs.

DEA: Drug Enforcement Agency. You need to obtain a DEA number when filling your pet’s prescription. This code can be obtained from your veterinarian. 

Gold Person Code: The person code is used to individually identify each member on a GoodRx Gold account. All members, regardless of whether you have an Individual or a Family Plan, will have a person code assigned to them (e.g. John Doe = 01, Jane Doe = 02).

The pharmacist must enter the GoodRx Gold card information along with the correct person code for each member in order for the card to work correctly. Learn more here.
